Information You Send Directly
A name, telephone number, or address entered into a search box is sent to the outside provider that supplies its results; our servers do not retain a search copy. If you contact us, the message contains only the information you choose to provide, and we use it to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Routine hosting logs may record an IP address, browser information, pages requested, and timestamps. We review that information in aggregate to maintain the service and understand usage. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and, where used, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
It is used to run the service, diagnose problems, measure traffic, and improve the reference material. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
External Services and Links
Links lead to county and state portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search services. Their own privacy terms control information submitted on those services, including the provider behind sponsored search results.
Who Can Process It
Hosting and support providers process technical logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. Information is otherwise disclosed only when valid legal process requires disclosure.
Data Safeguards
The service uses an encrypted connection, and technical logs are retained only for the operational purposes described here. There are no visitor accounts, passwords, or stored profiles on this service.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from people under 18. If a minor has sent information to us, contact us so it can be removed.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask for access, correction, or deletion of personal information a service keeps. The research for this Pennsylvania location did not establish a comprehensive statewide consumer-data-broker deletion statute. Because we retain little, a request usually involves checking the contact mailbox and available logs, then removing responsive material. Use the Contact page. Public records remain with their custodian: Pennsylvania’s Right-to-Know Law, Act 3 of 2008, 65 P.S. §§ 67.101-67.3104, and record-specific rules govern those requests. Protected-address questions may also involve the Pennsylvania Address Confidentiality Program, 23 Pa.C.S. §§ 6701 et seq.
Policy Updates
Changes will appear here. Continued use after a revision means that you accept the revised policy.
